Living our Apollo’s aim to combine health and music, a twilight performance by Jazz Band set the mood for an evening of running at Stonnington Relay for Life on the 26th of September.
The Relay for Life aims to promote awareness of cancer, as well as giving people the opportunity to think of those who are fighting cancer currently or those who have fought with cancer.
The event in Stonnington Relay raised over $14,000, which will go towards cancer research, prevention and support programs.
Well done to the boys for a fantastic performance, and for taking the time to support such a worthy cause!

Three days and two nights of playing mafia, dancing by the lake, and losing our voices from singing too much (never!) … and we’re all still alive with hoarser voices and instruments a shade more worn out.
Camp was a fantastic highlight for our second semester. A big thank you to all who made it, and all who helped out to make it a successful event. A particular mention to our social events rep Sandy and the rest of the committee.
For those who couldn’t make it this time round, there’s always next semester!

Wew! Apollo just had their first EVER Casual Jam session, which gathered an eclectic group of people with different musical interests together to play whatever they felt like playing! We had some Coldplay, a bossa nova, Blink 182, a mellow jam with some Arabian influences and a beautiful banjo solo.
If you missed the Jam, never fear- the next one will be in Week 4 or 5, just around the corner! Hope to see you there, and thanks to all that came today!
